Cosm – December 10, 2025

While not techinically a show, I think this still counts. We were gifted tickets to see a hockey game for our first visit to Cosm in Inglewood. It’s located in the former Hollywood Park/So-Fi Stadium area and so was a quick and easy drive from our house. We did get a little lost because the car navigation couldn’t find “Cosm” and tried to send us Downtown. We would have been fine if we had just trusted out instincts. As we approached the parking structure, there were signs reminding us to take out tickets for validation if we were there to visit Cosm, which is how we knew we’d found the right place. I had explored the website in anticipation of this trip and read that there was a clear bag policy in place. We decided to just risk it with ou purses and as it turns out, no one looked at us twice. We scanned in and then walked through the metal detector with no trouble. We were directed up two escalators and made out way to our seats. The seats are rather cushiony benches. we were on the end and so one of us had to sit kind of sideways to see. There were little tables in front of each pair so we had a place to set our food and drinks. If we go back, we will likely try for seats in the center of the section so we are both facing forward, but for free, we weren’t complaining. They recommended we arrive half an hour early for a 7:00 game, so we got there at 6:30. It turned out puck drop wasn’t until 7:30 so we were there super early. A waitress came by and took our order. We were both drinking water and I suggested a $26 tri-tip sandwich because it was the thing that looked the best on the menu. Our waitress disappeared and was soon replaced by a waiter who said he was taking over. Our food came out pretty fast and we ate it before the game started. It was a delicious sandwich. My husband had been eyeing the $18 pretzel so we got one of those too.
As you can see from the picture above, it was super realistic. I posted on Facebook that I was at Cosm for a game and one of my friends asked if I was in a suite because it really does look like you are AT the game. Most of the people there were fans – all wearing their Kings merch – and they do a good job of getting everyone pumped up for the game. The Kings Mascot Bailey was there circulating and taking pictures with people. They change angles frequently and honestly that was a little jarring. One second you are looking at the entire arena and the next second the 40 foot tall goalie is right in front of you. At the end of the first period, our waiter came by and said, “I know you’re not drinking alchohol, but I just wanted to let you know we’ve got $5 shots right now.” I, of course, ordered a shot.
The whole experience was fun. We had fun and the people around us had fun. When the Kings scored the guy next to me turned and high fived me. Then the Kings ended up losing in OT, we all walked out disappointed. I have no idea what our tickets cost because on the website the ticket prices swing from $18 to $380 depending on the event. Seems like Rams games are the most expensive but who knows how much Dodger tickets would be? For a Lakers game, our seats would be $121 each. It seems almost comparable to going to the actual game, but it’s certainly a lot easier. I have to say, it was also pretty great when it was time to leave because it was maybe 150 people leaving instead of 18,000 people. I think we were home 15 minutes after the game ended. Take that Crypto.com Arena!
